Short Run, Short Bread

How was your Monday?
I believed it rained here this morning and I just slept in. Ahhh ....
After work, I hurried home to finish up the pot roast I had it in the Crock-Pot since the morning,
changed and headed to the Y for a run on the treadmill. Again.

After 30 minutes (2.75 miles), I was one sweaty mess!

It was an uneventful run.
Oprah was on. And there were WAAAY too many commercials than the program.
I gave thought to doing a full marathon.
What would you suggest?

Today I ate .....
Breakfast: 1 egg + 1 white, 1 slice of whole wheat bread
Lunch: Leftover (chicken spaghetti - so yummy!)
Snack: One piece of buttery shortbread - SO GOOD! Half slice of cheddar bread from a local German bakery. (See, I am justifying).
Dinner: Pot roast + some mashed potatoes + 1 more piece of shortbread

Reflections on my meals?  
This one is easy.  Too Much Carbs!

  2. I say go for it! I am so in love with my crockpot. Makes supper so much easier ;)

  3. I was all psyched to run outside at lunch, and then there was a huge flash of lightning as I was heading out the door... so I was back inside and on the treadmill. Blah. I don't know how you do it!

  5. I think 2012 is the year of the marathon. ;)
