Ten!

(disclaimer: im using the blogger app on my phone to write this post. We'll see how the photos turn out)

Another long run logged on Saturday morning. I missed a short 30-min run this week and I cannot afford to skip another long run, especially since I had taken last week off due to a cold and
moving.

So I ran. Ten miles. On the treadmill. All of it. Can I get a virtual high-five?
It took almost 125 minutes (2 hrs 5 min), which means I won't be PRing at this rate this October. I'm aware it is still too soon to tell, and there are other race-day factors to consider. I'm still trying to decide what I want out of this half marathon.

We have moved but Paddy is still at the ex-house. There's just a lot more room out there where she is safer from traffic. We are looking at some wireless fence for her at the new house. Any recommendations? So I have been making frequent trips to the ex-house to play with her and feed her. I miss my Paddy Wag!

  1. Way to go on 10 miles! You've really come back strong! It doesn't seem long ago that you were just getting out for 2 or 3 miles!

  3. Congrats on 10 on the treadmill!! That is impressive. We love our invisible fence for George the basset hound. He did need the highest level of correction, but he only got zapped 2 times before he figured it out.

  5. WOW, I can't imagine 10 on the treadmill!!! Great job, super woman! What a cute puupy you have. I love seeing her!

Do NOT back out of the race! Training for something is good for you. :) You might not PR, but you can set a PR for where you are right now by trying your best and giving your all.
