Got Funny?

I could definitely use a run right now.  I have thoughts I need to ponder, frustrations and stress I need to pound out, and disappointment that I can just dump along the road.

It is funny how not exercising makes one more tired when awake and more restless when trying to sleep.

Work has been keeping me so busy that I am usually at home just to sleep.

It was Operation Clean Out Fridge today at the house.  It was unexpected. The fridge broke down.  And things were starting to get funky in there.  So pretty much threw everything out.  Think of all the wasted money. But oh well, better that than getting sick.

I could use a laugh right now. Got funny? Share!

  1. Sorry no jokes from me, I'm in the same crappy mood :( My BF is gone for a week now and I miss him and he won't be back for 2 more weeks. His work schedule is so crazy, we only called once :( Plus I feel my family and friends back in Germany mostly don't care about me and I never hear from them, they don't answer emails or return calls... plus it's soo hard to make new friends here in the US...I'm lonely.... I hope I didn't make you feel worse now....

  3. I totally know what you mean about the effects of not running! I hope work is going well and is not too stressful. Bummer about the fridge!

Funny? Okay! So, what is the stereotypical plumber characteristic? Butt crack. So a few weeks ago our plumber was here leaned over the toilet with a few inches of crack showing. Ramsey loves watching people work, and every 10 minutes or so, he'd walk to the bathroom door to check on the plumber. "Butt. Butt, butt, butt. Butt! Butt, butt, butt, butt, butt..." Oh, my dear god! How do you not die laughing when your kid sees butt crack and won't stop saying 'butt'? I managed to keep a straight face, but it was really hard. Neither the plumber nor I said anything. I hoped that he just thought Ramsey was babbling, but the chances of that are slim. What an awkward situation! I'd distract Ramsey with toys for 10 minutes, but he kept going back to the bathroom to check on the plumber. He'd say 'butt' a good dozen or two times, and then we'd go play again. Love it.

  4. Um ... I found my key in my shoe last night - apparently I ran 5 miles on it? That's more painful than funny though.

I'm drawing a blank on funny today.
