Teach Me, Please....

Wow! Sunday is half gone and I have yet open up that bottle of wine I have in my fridge since Friday. Gotto check that off my list today!

On Thursday, I went to the Y to run. I don't know why, but my belly was revolting! And I only had the will for a measly 2-miler.

Friday night I texted my running friend and ask Mr. J if he wanted to run on Saturday. We ended up meeting at 5:30 am for a wonderful run. We covered exactly 10K (6.2miles) in 1 hour and 12 minutes. Running outside was so much fun! I had to ask him about some Scriptures stuff. It was a great run - lots of catching up and sharing of knowledge.

Yeap, I probably should run a lot more than 6 miles but heck.... I have more moving to do later that Saturday.

I moved more stuff again from ex-house to new-house.

I am beginning to loathe cardboard boxes!

A house is still a house to me. Home remains in Ruston, La. So, yeah, in a way, I haven't felt at home since we left Ruston.

Can someone teach me how to make chocolate milk? I have both Hersheys syrup and Nesquik. Give me the exact directions becos' whenever I follow the directions, those suckers never really get dissolved completely and/or end up too thin and weak!

All right, gonna go sink myself in the sea of cardboard, again.

  1. Ugh! Moving stinks! I don't think a bottle of wine has ever lasted that long in my fridge!!

  2. Haha, recipes for chocolate milk just seemed funny to me. I don't actually drink chocolate milk, but my younger brothers use the blender to mix the syrup perfectly. Have you tried that?

  5. Yeah I just go the pre-made route cause when I mix on my own it's lumpy...not pretty or tasty!

  7. I just buy Horizon 1% chocolate milk - I drink so much! No high fructose corn syrup that way!

  9. Having unopened wine in the fridge makes me feel like a grown up. The type of grown up who plans ahead :-)
I buy premixed chocolate milk. Horizon makes the three pack that is shelf stable.

  10. Maybe you could make a cardboard box fort and then hide in it! Hide in it with your chocolate milk!
