Eeeek! I've Got No Greek in my Fridge!

About the Run:
Ran 3 miles in 38 minutes. Yeah. It was slow. I had the treadmill set to 5mph. And at some point during the run, even tuned it down to 4.7. The calves and hamstrings felt a little tight tonight. Mostly the calves. I wondered if wearing compression socks during a run have anything to do with it.  Do you have any idea?

During the Run:
I watched Midnight in Paris while running. It is a good mindless movie to run to. :)

After the Run:
I googled some yoga moves and followed the pictured sequences. I used to do the Vinyasa Flow Yoga when I was in college. Always love the sessions because it moves quickly, yet, it is so calming, relaxing and challenging at the same time. Being somewhat slightly familiar with the moves, it wasn't too difficult to follow some of the poses. I held the poses a little longer, focusing on the stretching. It was good.

My Before and After Thoughts:
Before the run, I thought I would "treat" myself to a glass of wine after my run. After all, it is a Friday night.
After the run, I made myself a yummy, healthful concoction of plain yogurt (I ran out of Greek! Eek!!) topped with raspberries, blackberries, banana slices, granola, and a drizzle of Arkansas honey. Major yum right there. Totally satisfying!
This was yummilicious!!!

  1. How did you think of googling reviews for cranberry body butter? That makes me feel so much better that I have in fact found the right culprit! Crazy!
