I believed I kicked off this week with a good start - ONE mile of run/walk. Uninterrupted. Baby Jack went back to sleep after I nursed him and instead of drifting into la-la-land like he was, I got up and went for a run/walk on the treadmill. I want to do this at least 2 more times this week.
Restarting a routine takes a little time and a lot of dedication. I have to remind myself that I can and WILL be dedicated.
Baby Jack is almost 4 months. He has a little tooth coming out. The drooling. The fussiness. They have started. Poor baby.
I love being a mother.
It is like, "This is what I was born to do. I was born to be Baby Jack's mommy."
I made crock-pot lasagna yesterday. It was delicious. It needed a few more tweaks. But just following the recipe to a T yielded good results. We just wanted a little more noodles, and a little more sauce, and a little more punch.
Baby Jack is too cute! Good luck fitting in more walk/runs on the treadmill. Give it time, you'll figure out how to fit it all in!
ReplyDeleteAwww LOVE this picture, he looks soo relaxed :) I'm sure he loves being your son!
ReplyDeleteAww such a sweet post Christina. My sister had a baby a couple of weeks ago and she has said the same thing. This is her calling to be a mom and it sounds like it is yours as well!
