Midweek Semi Long Run

I ate a late breakfast, thinking I would sneak a 5-miler during lunch. Then, lunch came and went, and I still hadn't grab a bite to eat. Come 3:30 p.m., and I was famished.


Prerun snack: A handful of Doritos. Yes. That's bad. Don't judge. I wasn't at home.

The Run: It was a fairly decent run and I had a decent good time doing it. Nothing super exciting and I was glad it was over. Miles and miles on the treadmill is getting a little old for me. I can't wait for the fall and the cooler temperatures to come so I can run outside. I bet you guys are tired of looking at a blog full of words and treadmill pictures.

I finished the 5 miles that I was supposed to do for today in 53:45 minutes.  So far, I have logged 31 miles for this month.  I think I will be able to hit at least 60 miles this month.

All right, I'm off to enjoy some angel hair pasta with marinara sauce, some ahi tuna and shrimp and some lemonade. This girl is starving!

About photos, what kind of photos would you like to see? I need some inspiration.

  3. Ugh. I feel you on the temp thing. This week a cool front has rolled in. Its still 95deg but the humidity broke for a bit. Won't last though.
