I ask/You Answer

QUESTION OF THE DAY:  What do you want to read about?

Let's not kid myself.
I am not a famous pro-runner.  So I cannot WOW you with that.
I don't have many cold, hard running facts to dispense.  Most of my "advice" came from screwing it up myself and learning not to do it again.
And I am not a fast runner so I can't exactly dazzle you with that either.

And to read about how I struggle to get out of my warm bed in the cold mornings to go run, and how I ran 3 miles, 4 miles, and 5 miles .... well.. that's just not really that interesting.

I know some of y'all enjoyed the "Random Thoughts" I post when I run alone or have the opportunity to zone out even when I am running in a group.  But what else would you like to read about?

I'm still going to blog about my runs - usually a paragraph or two would suffice.
I kinda have been "experimenting" - blogging about shopping/grocery trips, doing random things around the house, my two girls (Buttercup and Paddy Wag), some food.  Is this the direction that I should be going?

I would love to hear your suggestions.
Thanks!!

  1. I started reading your blog because your enthusiasim and new found love of running shone through and it reminded me of how enthusiastic I was when I first started running and why I keep running and now I like to follow how you are progressing and getting over those obsticles we all face as we try to improve.

    Keep on running!

  2. I also love reading about your enthusiasm for running and your experiences you have, either by yourself or running with your group. I like reading the other stuff, too, the random thoughts, the other things that go on in your life, etc, but I like following you because I just don't have many friends that run so I love following bloggers that run as much as I do.

  3. I haven't had any complaints on your posts! Your randoms are fun. I love writing random posts. I feel like running is dominating my blog - but that's 'cause I decided to blog every single training run for this first half marathon. I'm going to try to be normal after that.

I see the right sidebar thing says you are thinking about RNR New Orleans this weekend?? Are you doing it??

  4. I enjoy reading your random thoughts and anything else going on your life. You might think some things are totally boring for the readers, but it's not. Knowing all the little things in your life, just make me feel I get to know you even better and I enjoy our friendship and hopefully we get to meet at some point! :)
