Itchin'? Scratch it!

  1. Monday and Tuesday were kinda messed up. We had some funky weather here in the South.  Even though I slept at night, I kept a watchful sleep, checking on the weather every so often to see what it was doing.  Thankfully, nothing major happened.
  2. Arkansas was ready for the nasty weather to go on home so we can actually go on with our lives. Little did we know that it hit Alabama and wreaked havoc there.  For those who pray, say a prayer tonight / this morning for those suffering.  Or if you are like me, cross your fingers and hope there's ray a hope for those going through some dark times.
  3. I'm happy and humbled today.  I had a conference with a young mother. The first time I met her at a conference to discuss my concerns about her child, she cried. She was beating herself down and feeling guilty about her child's speech issues.  Today, about 8 months later, she was almost to tears again.  She was excited and relieved and thankful for what I do to help her child.  Her eyes said a lot.  You can tell she was really genuine and sincere and hopeful that her child will continue to make progress.  I had to tell her that I won't be able to do it without her help.  It wasn't all my credit to take.  I'm with a child for some 30 minutes a week.  She did the hardwork too.  And I thanked her.  It was a very "feel-good" moment for us. :)
  4. I'm itchin' for a run.
  5. I'm scratchin' that itch.
  6. Gonna get at least 2 miles in tomorrow.  Pretty much rebuilding my base from scratch.
  7. Good night people.

  5. Soo glad you had no issues with the weather. It's terrible and it seems it only gets worse :( But we have to think positive, how did your run go? :)
