We started at the subway station (also called the MRT - Mass Rapid Transit - station) and made our way along the Singapore River. We saw many new buildings and I snapped a few shots. Here are the sights.
Basically, we ran along the Singapore River and saw mostly the new buildings and some old ones.
This picture, you see the ferris wheel looking thing that's called Singapore Flyer (like the London Eye)
and that tall building on the right that looks like an ironing board is a new casino and shopping place. A lot has changed. The Singapore Government reclaimed part of the land and built some of these
buildings/attractions.
Running through this part was a wonderful way to see the new additions.

It was slow and it was already hot and humid. I messed up many a times on the Garmin.
But according to my friend, we definitely hit at least 10K.
I'll take that!

ReplyDeleteThose are some really cool, unique looking buildings! I guess I've never really thought about what I think Singapore might look like. I didn't expect an ironing board casino! ;)
