A chain of miscalculated ETAs screwed up my schedule.
Left town for a workshop.
To a Holiday Inn Express with no fitness center.
Ate deliciously bad food.
Had way too much candy.
Had way too much grease.
Feeling waaay too disgusted with myself.
Yikes!
Thursday.
I got myself to the Y as soon as I got back into town.
I did the speed interval I was supposed to be doing on Tuesday.
It was 2 minutes warm-up, 4 minutes speed work @ 9:21/mile, 2 minutes recovery.
Completed 2.83 miles in 30 minutes.
Sweaty.
It was kinda hard.
But I am FEELING 100% AWESOME.
So happy I got the run done.
No random thoughts.
Just me. Vanna. Pat.
Gonna go play with my dogs.
Adios amigos!
100% awesome! glad you were able to get the speed work in, even a couple of days later...

I'm not getting my tempo in this week but I am racing. So I will say that's okay.
ReplyDeleteNice job fitting the speed work in when you got back!
ReplyDeleteYou are 100% awesome! Don't waste time feeling down on yourself about eating the nasty crap - just keep moving and get right back to healthy eating!
ReplyDeleteRe: your comment on my blog
Honey, I have seen all kinds of pictures of you, and you do not look at all pregnant. Silly girl! You're beautiful and healthy. Don't let your family skew your vision. :)
Great job! I really enjoy the treadmill when I do speed work!
ReplyDeleteNice job on the speedwork! Tell Vanna & Pat hi ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking (I mean for 30 seconds now) that I should join the Y). I'm going to look into it. If I do, I blame YOU! ;)
